Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Think Tank Events Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for conceptualizing, planning, and executing high-profile conferences and events that bring together thought leaders, industry experts, and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex events, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver seamless, impactful experiences that align with our strategic objectives. This position requires significant travel to various high-end venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of high-end conferences, forums, and strategic events, from concept development to post-event analysis.
- Develop comprehensive event strategies, including program design, speaker acquisition, attendee engagement, and logistical planning.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation without compromising quality.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and high-profile speakers to ensure content relevance and seamless program delivery.
- Oversee all logistical aspects, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual production, registration, transportation, and accommodation.
- Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to attract target audiences and maximize event attendance.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and analyze event performance to identify areas for improvement and future innovation.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and partners.
- Travel extensively to event locations, ensuring on-site operational excellence.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-end event management, conference production, or related fields.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in event management software and CRM systems.
- Strategic thinking with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial oversight for events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation or equivalent certification.
