Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented WFH Order Entry Specialist to join our remote corporate office team. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a leading global manufacturing solutions company from anywhere within the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient data entry, and providing exceptional support to our sales and operations teams. You will play a crucial role in maintaining data integrity within our systems and facilitating smooth order fulfillment processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently process a high volume of customer orders received via various channels (email, online portal, phone) into the company's ERP system.
  • Verify order information, including product codes, quantities, pricing, and shipping details, to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with sales representatives, customers, and internal departments to clarify order details and address any issues or inquiries.
  • Monitor order status and follow up on pending orders to ensure timely processing and delivery.
  • Maintain and update customer records and order history with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Generate and distribute order confirmations, invoices, and other related documents.
  • Assist with data reconciliation and reporting as needed to support business operations.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to order entry and data management.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in order entry, data processing, or a related administrative role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to task management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Previous experience working in a remote or work-from-home capacity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or supply chain industry terminology.
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
