Job Description

Are you looking to kickstart a career in a hands-on trade? Bell Group is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Painter Assistant to join our team in Wolverhampton. This is an entry-level position, perfect for individuals with no prior experience in painting, but a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. You will be assisting experienced painters on clean, residential projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled painters with surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, and filling.
  • Help with the application of paints, varnishes, and other finishes under supervision.
  • Protect furniture, flooring, and other surfaces from paint splatters.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly cared for.
  • Safely load and unload materials and supplies.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines on job sites.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
