Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Pinterest Graphic Designer and Canva Specialist to join our remote marketing team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere. In this role, you will be responsible for creating captivating and high-performing visual content specifically tailored for Pinterest, leveraging your expertise in Canva. You will play a crucial role in enhancing Etsy’s brand presence on Pinterest, driving traffic, and engaging our target audience through stunning and optimized visuals. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a deep understanding of Pinterest’s algorithm and best practices, and a proven track record of creating compelling content that converts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Pinterest visual content strategy aligned with marketing goals and seasonal campaigns.
- Design a wide range of Pinterest pins, including static pins, video pins, idea pins, and carousels, using Canva to its full potential.
- Ensure all visual content is on-brand, aesthetically pleasing, and optimized for Pinterest's platform specifications and audience engagement.
- Conduct keyword research and integrate relevant keywords into pin descriptions and titles to maximize discoverability.
- Monitor Pinterest trends, analytics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and optimize content performance.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align Pinterest content with broader digital marketing initiatives.
- Manage and organize a library of design assets within Canva for efficient content creation.
- Provide regular reports on Pinterest performance, including reach, engagement, and traffic generation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Canva features and Pinterest best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing Pinterest-specific designs.
- Expert-level proficiency in Canva for graphic design, including advanced features and templates.
- In-depth understanding of Pinterest marketing strategies, algorithms, and best practices.
- Strong grasp of visual aesthetics, typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Ability to create engaging, click-worthy visuals that drive traffic and conversions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Experience with keyword research tools for Pinterest optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with other design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
