Job Description
Are you a budding graphic designer passionate about visual storytelling and the entertainment industry? R/GA is seeking a highly motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our remote team, specifically working on projects inspired by and related to major streaming platforms, including Netflix. This unique role is designed for individuals eager to build a robust professional portfolio while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency environment. You will collaborate with senior designers to develop compelling visual assets for digital campaigns, social media, promotional materials, and immersive experiences. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of visual designs for various digital and print platforms, ensuring brand consistency and creative excellence.
- Collaborate with senior designers and creative teams to concept and execute design solutions.
- Develop assets for social media campaigns, web banners, presentations, and internal communications, often inspired by entertainment content.
- Incorporate feedback from art directors and project managers to refine designs.
- Maintain an organized library of design assets and project files.
- Research current design trends and industry best practices in the entertainment sector.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and present design ideas.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Ability to translate concepts into compelling visual designs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A strong online portfolio showcasing creative potential and personal projects.
- Interest in the entertainment industry and streaming content.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) or UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
- Experience with digital marketing design or social media content creation.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Prior internship or freelance experience in a design-related role.
