Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Price Tagger to join our team in New Port Richey, Florida. This is an essential behind-the-scenes role, perfect for individuals who thrive on precise, repetitive tasks and prefer minimal customer interaction. As a Price Tagger, you will be responsible for accurately marking prices on merchandise, ensuring all products are correctly priced according to current promotions and inventory data. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately apply price tags and labels to merchandise as directed.
  • Verify pricing accuracy on shelves and displays against current system data.
  • Remove old or incorrect price tags and replace them efficiently.
  • Organize and prepare products for placement on sales floor or in storage.
  • Monitor inventory for pricing discrepancies and report issues to management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.
  • Work independently to complete daily tagging assignments within deadlines.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding pricing and product handling.

Required Skills

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Basic literacy and numerical skills.
  • Physical stamina: ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow precise instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or inventory role.
  • Familiarity with basic inventory management principles.
  • Experience using handheld scanning devices or pricing guns.
