Job Description
Join the AutoNation team as a Valeting Assistant and play a crucial role in preparing vehicles to meet our high standards of excellence. This full-time position operates on a Monday-Friday roster, ensuring consistent work-life balance. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our showroom, service bay, and customer vehicles. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and is looking to grow within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare new and used vehicles for delivery to customers, ensuring they meet showroom standards.
- Perform exterior and interior detailing, including washing, vacuuming, waxing, and polishing.
- Relocate vehicles on the lot as needed, ensuring proper organization and presentation.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the showroom, service drive, and other dealership areas.
- Assist with basic facility maintenance tasks as directed by management.
- Ensure all vehicles are fueled and ready for test drives or customer pickup.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and dealership policies.
- Communicate effectively with sales and service teams to prioritize vehicle preparation.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in vehicle detailing or valeting.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
