Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Septic Pumper Driver to join our growing team in Pasco, WA. This is an immediate opening for a local role, offering stability and growth opportunities. As a Septic Pumper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a septic pumping truck, performing routine pumping, cleaning, and maintenance of septic systems for residential and commercial clients. You will interact directly with customers, providing excellent service and representing Roto-Rooter’s commitment to quality. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain septic pumping trucks and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Pump out septic tanks, grease traps, and other waste systems.
  • Inspect septic systems for potential issues and report findings.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and vehicle logs.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client questions and concerns professionally.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members.
  • Ensure the truck is clean and well-maintained at all times.

Required Skills

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in septic pumping, waste management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of local wastewater regulations.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
