Job Description
Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors in your local community? Home Instead is seeking dedicated Caregivers to join our team in Pasco, WA. We offer flexible full-time schedules, comprehensive training, and a supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and meal preparation.
- Perform medication reminders and manage appointment schedules.
- Assist with safe client transfers and mobility.
- Run errands and provide transportation to appointments or social outings.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
Required Skills
- Genuine compassion and empathy for seniors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field (personal care, nursing assistant, etc.).
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
