Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Toy Room Organizer to join our family support centre in Glasgow. This vital role involves creating and maintaining an engaging, safe, and impeccably organized play environment for children and families who access our services. You will be responsible for the inventory, cleaning, and imaginative setup of our toy rooms, ensuring they are spaces where children can learn, play, and grow. Your work will directly support our mission to provide nurturing environments and resources for local families, helping us foster a positive impact on their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the inventory of all toys, games, and play equipment, ensuring items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Regularly clean, sanitize, and perform minor repairs on toys and equipment to uphold high hygiene and safety standards.
- Design and arrange stimulating play zones that cater to various age groups and developmental stages.
- Oversee the rotation of toys and resources to keep the play environment fresh and engaging.
- Collaborate with family support workers to understand specific needs and preferences of children and families.
- Ensure all play areas comply with health, safety, and safeguarding regulations.
- Assist in the procurement of new toys and resources, adhering to budget guidelines and child development principles.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all children and families using the facility.

- First Aid certification (Paediatric desirable).
