Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Python Developer to join our innovative team in Irvine, CA. This entry-level role is perfect for a recent graduate or someone early in their career with a strong foundational understanding of Python and a keen interest in integrating with Google APIs. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining Python-based applications that connect with various Google services, enhancing our internal tools and customer-facing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy Python scripts and applications to integrate with Google APIs (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, Google Workspace APIs, Google Maps API).
- Assist senior developers in designing and implementing new features and functionalities.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing Python applications and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Google API changes and Python best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery).
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of SQL databases.
- Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
