Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including counting, pouring, and labeling prescriptions.
- Process prescription refills and new prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and organizing medications.
- Operate pharmacy systems and cash registers, handling transactions and insurance claims.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong desire to learn and develop new skills in a healthcare setting.
