Join Amazon’s dynamic team as an Entry-Level Full-Time Warehouse Worker on our night shifts in Jamaica, NY. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and place products on racks or shelves.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and containers.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) after training.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and inventory management (training provided).
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment (not required, but a plus).
- Experience with an RF scanner.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
