Job Description
Are you ready to kickstart a rewarding career in logistics and operations but lack prior experience? Amazon is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our warehouse team in Mesa, AZ. This is an entry-level position where we provide comprehensive, paid training to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth flow of products through our fulfillment center, from receiving to shipping. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and distribute products within the warehouse
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (with training provided)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Identify and report any issues or discrepancies
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production goals
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, and reach for extended periods
- Basic English language comprehension for safety instructions and team communication
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a physical labor role (even if not warehouse-specific)
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
