Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Liaison with a strong healthcare marketing focus to join our dynamic team in Cambridge, MA. This pivotal role involves bridging the gap between clinical care and commercial strategy, ensuring that healthcare providers and patients understand the full value and appropriate use of Biogen’s innovative therapies. The ideal candidate will leverage their clinical expertise to educate, support, and foster strong relationships within the healthcare community, contributing directly to our mission of improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a clinical expert and resource for healthcare providers, educating them on Biogen's product portfolio, disease states, and patient support programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals within assigned territories.
- Gather and synthesize market insights from the field to inform marketing strategies and product development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, medical affairs, and patient services teams to ensure coordinated and effective outreach.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, helping them navigate complex treatment pathways and access necessary resources.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in local and national medical conferences, events, and professional development programs to stay current with industry trends and clinical advancements.
Required Skills
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts, BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in neurology, immunology, or a related specialty.
- Demonstrated understanding of the healthcare landscape, including managed care, reimbursement, and patient access challenges.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device company, particularly in a liaison, educator, or sales support role.
- Experience in healthcare marketing or commercial strategy.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis.
