Job Description
We are seeking bright and ambitious graduates for our Operations Graduate Program, with a specific focus on Supply Chain & Logistics. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the critical operations that power Google’s global infrastructure. You will rotate through various teams, contributing to projects that optimize our supply chain, improve logistics efficiency, and ensure the seamless delivery of our products and services worldwide. This is an entry-level role designed to develop future leaders in operations, providing comprehensive training, mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in project teams focused on optimizing Google's global supply chain processes.
- Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
- Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of product and component delivery across various regions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, product development, and finance teams, to align operational strategies.
- Contribute to the implementation of new tools and systems to enhance supply chain visibility and performance.
- Assist in vendor management activities, including performance tracking and relationship building.
- Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance, key metrics, and project progress.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
- An eagerness to learn about large-scale global operations and supply chain management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant internship or project experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages.
- Understanding of lean principles or other process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.
