Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled and adaptable Crisis Response Nurses for high-pay, short-term assignments across our facilities in the Seattle area. This critical role involves rapidly deploying to areas with urgent staffing needs, providing exceptional patient care during high-demand periods, and demonstrating expertise in various clinical settings. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate, high-quality patient care in fast-paced and challenging environments.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient progress according to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Adapt quickly to new clinical settings, patient populations, and facility policies.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.

Required Skills

  • Active RN license in Washington State
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience (e.g., ER, ICU, Med-Surg)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS/NRP may be required for specific assignments)
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a rapid-response team
  • Flexibility and willingness to accept short-notice assignments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in crisis response, travel nursing, or contract assignments
  • Specialty certifications (e.g., CCRN, CEN, TNCC)
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Experience in multiple clinical specialties
