Job Description
Are you looking for an entry-level opportunity to start a rewarding career in quality assurance within a fast-paced warehouse environment? Amazon is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Quality Inspector. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive, hands-on training to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed in this vital role. You will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of products moving through our Inglewood facility, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This is an on-site position where you will be an integral part of our local team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough visual inspections of incoming and outgoing merchandise for damage, defects, or inconsistencies.
- Verify product specifications, quantities, and packaging against established quality standards and documentation.
- Accurately record and report any identified quality issues or discrepancies using internal systems.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance inspection skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying imperfections.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures accurately.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and record keeping.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, lift (up to 49 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks throughout a shift.
- A strong commitment to safety and a diligent work ethic.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
