Job Description
Are you an aspiring graphic designer with a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence and a desire to build a robust portfolio from the ground up? Sweetwater Sound’s innovative marketing team is seeking a Junior AI Graphic Designer to join our dynamic ‘startup-within-a-company’ environment. This is a unique opportunity for an entry-level talent to dive into the exciting intersection of AI and graphic design, contributing to cutting-edge visual content, learning new AI-powered tools, and developing a stunning portfolio with real-world projects. You’ll work closely with experienced designers and marketing specialists to conceptualize, create, and refine graphics that resonate with our audience, utilizing AI to enhance efficiency and creative output.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and design briefs.
- Utilize AI-powered design tools and traditional graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite) to create compelling visual assets for web, social media, email, and print.
- Experiment with various AI generative art models and techniques to produce innovative design concepts and iterations.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of design assets, ensuring brand consistency and quality.
- Research emerging AI design trends, tools, and best practices to inform future creative strategies.
- Actively seek feedback and iterate on designs to meet project goals and improve visual impact.
- Manage and organize project files and assets efficiently.
- Contribute to team brainstorming sessions and creative ideation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Basic understanding or strong interest in AI generative art tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion).
- Strong foundational knowledge of graphic design principles (typography, color theory, layout).
- Excellent visual communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to take direction, learn quickly, and adapt to new technologies.
