Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort and organize packages, parcels, and other items according to designated routes and categories.
- Scan packages using handheld devices to ensure accurate tracking and inventory.
- Load and unload materials from conveyors, pallets, and trucks with care and precision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Identify and report any damaged packages or potential hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, after proper training (if applicable).
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Comfortable standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and bending for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning devices.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a physical labor role (e.g., landscaping, construction) is a plus but not required.
