Job Description
We are seeking motivated and energetic Student Warehouse Specialists to join our dynamic team in Richland, Washington. This part-time role is perfect for students looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced logistics environment while balancing their academic commitments. You will be instrumental in the rapid processing and movement of inventory, contributing directly to our customer fulfillment promise. Success in this role requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-speed setting. This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and organize incoming inventory with speed and accuracy.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Operate various warehouse equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently after proper training.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within designated work areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and quality control checks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or retail environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Current enrollment in a college or university program.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
