Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Grocery Stocking Auditor with a focus on Night Replenishment to join our team in Tucson, AZ. In this crucial on-site role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our night stocking operations. You will perform comprehensive audits of product placement, inventory levels, and planogram compliance during the overnight shift, playing a vital part in maintaining our store’s high standards for presentation and product availability. Your keen eye will identify discrepancies, support corrective actions, and contribute to an optimized stocking process that enhances the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and precise audits of grocery stocking and replenishment activities during the night shift.
- Verify product placement, shelf labels, and inventory counts against established planograms and system records.
- Identify and document discrepancies related to stocking levels, product rotation (FIFO), and display standards.
- Monitor and ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures for product freshness, quality, and safety.
- Collaborate effectively with the night replenishment team and management to communicate findings and support the implementation of corrective measures.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and inventory management systems for accurate data collection and reporting.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Assist in training and guiding newer associates on proper stocking and auditing procedures as needed.
- Prepare detailed audit reports for management, highlighting areas of excellence and opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and experience with handheld scanning devices or inventory systems.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift (up to 25 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality for scheduled night shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address stocking issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail operations, inventory management, or auditing, particularly within a grocery or supermarket environment.
- Familiarity with planograms and retail merchandising principles.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience working night shifts.
