Job Description
Carey International is seeking a dedicated and organized Limo Logistics Coordinator to join our Long Beach team. This unique role combines meticulous logistical planning, dispatching, and direct driving responsibilities, ensuring seamless luxury ground transportation for our esteemed clients. The ideal candidate will be a master of coordination, possess excellent customer service skills, and maintain a professional demeanor behind the wheel. You will be instrumental in scheduling our fleet and chauffeurs, managing reservations, and stepping in to drive when needed, upholding Carey’s high standards of punctuality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily schedules for chauffeurs and vehicle assignments, optimizing routes and resources.
- Manage client reservations, ensuring all details are accurate and special requests are accommodated.
- Monitor real-time traffic and flight information to anticipate and mitigate potential delays.
- Communicate effectively with chauffeurs, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Perform professional chauffeured services as required, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
- Handle invoicing and administrative tasks related to logistics operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, representing Carey International with professionalism and courtesy.
Required Skills
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or dispatch
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Customer service-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field
- Experience in the luxury chauffeured service industry
- Knowledge of Long Beach and greater Los Angeles area geography
- First-Aid and CPR certification
