Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Beverage Delivery Driver, operating in the high-energy environment of Cincinnati’s local suburbs. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of a wide range of beverages to our valued clients, including restaurants, bars, and retail establishments. You will be responsible for navigating established routes, handling products with care, and providing outstanding customer service upon delivery. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency, as you will be managing a high volume of deliveries daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle to transport beverages to designated locations on established routes.
- Load and unload beverage cases, kegs, and other products, using appropriate equipment and following safety protocols.
- Verify order accuracy with customers at each stop, collecting payments and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, complete paperwork, and adhere to delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving delivery issues courteously and efficiently.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations and company policies.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including product sorting and staging, as needed.
Required Skills
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly and maneuver heavy objects.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in basic math for order verification and payment collection.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local suburban Cincinnati routes and traffic patterns.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial delivery driving experience, preferably in beverage distribution.
- Experience with hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other delivery equipment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of product rotation and inventory management practices.
