Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our branch in Garden Grove, CA. As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of Bank of America, providing exceptional service to our clients, processing transactions accurately, and identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashing checks.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer by handling cash and other forms of payment with precision.
- Identify customer needs and offer appropriate bank products and services, making referrals to personal bankers as needed.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a positive banking experience.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the branch, including vault balancing and ATM servicing.
- Educate customers on self-service options and digital banking tools.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Availability to work full-time, including Saturdays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cash handling or customer service role.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
- Prior experience in a banking or financial services environment.
