Job Description
Are you a friendly, detail-oriented individual looking to start a career in banking? Wells Fargo in Palmdale, CA, is seeking enthusiastic Bank Tellers. No prior banking experience is required, and we welcome high school graduates who are eager to learn and grow. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashing checks.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when handling cash and other financial instruments.
- Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate bank products or services.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Adhere to all bank security procedures and compliance regulations.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
- Refer customers to other bank specialists when necessary.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic math proficiency and experience handling cash.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliability and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (retail, hospitality, etc.).
- Familiarity with basic computer systems.
- Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are a plus.
