Job Description
Join our dynamic logistics team as a Delivery Offsider! This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are looking for consistent morning work, are physically fit, and eager to learn the ropes of distribution without needing a special driver’s license. You’ll be an essential part of our delivery operations, assisting drivers with loading, unloading, and ensuring accurate product delivery to our valued customers across the St. Petersburg area. This role offers immediate start opportunities and a chance to build a career in the supply chain industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of food service products.
- Verify product counts against invoices to ensure accurate deliveries.
- Navigate routes efficiently with the driver, providing assistance as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the delivery vehicle.
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, representing Sysco's values.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Help secure loads to prevent damage during transit.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
