Job Description
Village Tours and Travel is seeking a highly skilled and professional Luxury Motorcoach Operator to join our dynamic team in Fayetteville, AR. This pivotal role involves operating high-capacity luxury limousines and motorcoaches for various tours, charters, and executive travel assignments. The ideal candidate will possess an impeccable driving record, a strong commitment to passenger safety and comfort, and an ability to deliver a first-class experience. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe transport, adhering to all traffic regulations, and maintaining the pristine condition of our luxury fleet. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operator to represent a premier brand in luxury transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate luxury motorcoaches and high-capacity limousines for scheduled tours, private charters, and executive transfers.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring all safety and operational equipment is in perfect working order.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, assisting with boarding, luggage, and addressing any inquiries or needs professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate driving logs, mileage reports, and trip documentation.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
- Navigate routes efficiently, utilizing GPS and local knowledge to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Handle passenger emergencies or unexpected situations with calm and professionalism.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement and Airbrake restriction removed.
- Minimum 4 years of verifiable experience operating motorcoaches, luxury buses, or similar large passenger vehicles.
- Clean driving record (no major violations or accidents in the past 3-5 years).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs) and assist passengers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and extended trips.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with luxury vehicle operations or VIP clientele.
- Familiarity with the Fayetteville, AR and surrounding regional routes.
- Certification in first aid and CPR.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
