Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tanker Solo Driver to join our team in Zephyrhills, Florida. This position offers a top-tier pay structure, including a weekly minimum guarantee, ensuring consistent earnings for dedicated professionals. As a Top Pay Tanker Solo Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of various liquid bulk commodities, upholding KAG’s stringent safety standards and commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle, transporting liquid bulk commodities.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Manage loading and unloading procedures, ensuring product integrity and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of driving activities, cargo, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo while prioritizing safety and compliance.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Tanker endorsement
- HazMat endorsement
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents or serious violations in the last 3 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- X endorsement (combined Tanker and HazMat endorsement)
- Previous experience transporting liquid bulk commodities
- Experience with various types of tankers (e.g., chemical, food grade, petroleum)
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
