Job Description

Fancy Face Inc. is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bridal Hair Assistant to join our elite team. This is a unique opportunity to travel to breathtaking luxury wedding venues, support lead stylists in creating stunning bridal looks, and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of wedding glamour. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead hair stylists with various tasks during bridal appointments, including setting up workstations, preparing hair, and managing tools.
- Support in curling, straightening, pinning, and other styling techniques as directed by the lead stylist.
- Ensure all hair products, tools, and accessories are organized and readily available.
- Help maintain a clean and professional work area at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to brides and their bridal parties, ensuring a calm and enjoyable experience.
- Travel to various luxury wedding venues across Richmond Hill and surrounding areas as part of a styling team.
- Assist with touch-ups and final adjustments before the bride walks down the aisle.
- Learn and grow by observing experienced bridal hair stylists in action.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of various hair styling techniques (e.g., curling, straightening, braiding).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with a professional demeanor.
- Access to reliable transportation to travel to various venues.
- Availability to work primarily on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience assisting a hair stylist or in a salon setting.
- Enrollment in or completion of a cosmetology program.
- A portfolio showcasing personal hair styling work (even if non-professional).
- Familiarity with luxury bridal beauty standards.
