Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Home Paper Archive Sorter to join our administrative team in Bolton. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our extensive paper archives. The successful candidate will be responsible for systematically organizing, cataloguing, and storing a variety of historical and current documents originating from various internal departments and, at times, external sources. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to administrative tasks. You will play a vital role in ensuring our records management is efficient and compliant with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Sort, classify, and file physical paper documents according to established company policies and archival standards.
  • Catalogue new and existing archive materials accurately using internal database systems.
  • Retrieve documents efficiently upon request from various departments.
  • Conduct regular audits of archive materials to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare documents for long-term storage, including boxing, labeling, and shelving.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all archived information.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or damage to archived materials.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of improved archiving procedures.
