Job Description

Join our vibrant team at Hilton Worldwide in South Bend as Bar and Waiting Staff! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals eager to start a career in hospitality. No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training. This role offers flexible shifts to fit your schedule and the opportunity to earn weekly tips, enhancing your take-home pay. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, using our POS system.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly to tables and bar patrons, ensuring presentation standards are met.
  • Prepare basic bar drinks, including cocktails, beers, and wines, and ensure the bar area is stocked and clean.
  • Process payments and handle cash/credit card transactions with accuracy.
  • Assist with setting up and clearing tables, as well as maintaining dining and bar areas to Hilton's high standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.

  • Positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to work effectively and remain composed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not mandatory).
  • Previous experience in a customer service or any public-facing role (beneficial, but not required).
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service or an eagerness to learn quickly.
