Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Pinterest Graphic Designer with exceptional expertise in Canva to join our dynamic remote team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. As a Canva Specialist, you will be instrumental in developing visually compelling and effective Pinterest content that captures attention, drives engagement, and aligns with our clients’ brand strategies. You will work closely with our social media and content teams to transform concepts into stunning visual assets for various campaigns across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce a high volume of engaging Pinterest visuals, including standard pins, idea pins, video pins, and carousel pins, primarily using Canva.
- Ensure all designs are optimized for Pinterest's platform, adhering to best practices for aspect ratios, text overlays, and visual appeal.
- Collaborate with marketing managers and content strategists to understand campaign objectives and translate them into effective visual designs.
- Maintain brand consistency across all Pinterest creative assets, ensuring adherence to client brand guidelines.
- Manage and organize a comprehensive library of design templates, assets, and brand elements within Canva for efficient future use.
- Stay current with Pinterest trends, design best practices, and new features within Canva to continuously evolve and improve design output.
- Provide design support for other social media platforms and digital marketing initiatives as needed.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for visual storytelling on Pinterest.
Required Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Canva, demonstrating ability to create complex and visually appealing designs quickly and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Proven experience in designing content specifically for Pinterest, with a clear understanding of its unique visual language and audience engagement strategies.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing a range of Pinterest-specific graphic design work, preferably using Canva.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with remote team members and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
