Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Floral Assistant to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to learn the floral industry from the ground up, with a primary focus on assisting with deliveries and supporting daily shop operations. No prior experience is required; we will provide all the necessary training. If you have a positive attitude, a valid driver’s license, and a desire to contribute to a beautiful business, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and packaging of floral arrangements for delivery.
- Safely and efficiently deliver floral arrangements to customers across the New Port Richey area.
- Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and perform basic checks.
- Help organize and restock flowers and supplies in the shop.
- Assist florists with simple tasks like cleaning buckets, processing flowers, and preparing vases.
- Provide friendly and professional interaction with customers during deliveries.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Learn and adhere to all shop policies and procedures regarding flower care and handling.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weight (up to 30 lbs).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the New Port Richey and surrounding areas.
