Job Description
Are you a student looking for a dynamic part-time opportunity that fits around your schedule and offers excellent pay? Publix Super Markets, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Night Fill Crew in New Port Richey. This entry-level position is perfect for students who are night owls, enjoy physical work, and want to contribute to ensuring our shelves are fully stocked and organized for our morning shoppers. You’ll play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our store, working overnight to prepare it for the next day’s business. We offer a high night differential pay to reward your dedication during these essential hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload delivery trucks and organize merchandise in the stockroom.
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure proper product placement according to store planograms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including aisles and stockroom areas.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely after proper training.
- Break down cardboard and dispose of waste materials properly.
- Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Ensure store readiness for opening, including facing products and tidying displays.
Required Skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in stocking and organizing.
- Excellent time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school or college.
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with inventory procedures or stocking operations.
