Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Online Blog Assistant to support our digital initiatives aimed at engaging 14-year-old teens. This is a unique opportunity for an individual passionate about youth development and online content creation, providing comprehensive training in WordPress and blog management. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining an online platform that offers valuable resources, entertainment, and a sense of community for young people. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to make a significant impact from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation, editing, and scheduling of engaging blog posts tailored for 14-year-old teens.
  • Undergo comprehensive WordPress training to learn content management, publishing, and basic SEO techniques.
  • Conduct research on trending topics, youth interests, and educational content relevant to the target age group.
  • Support the moderation and growth of the blog's online community, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
  • Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm new ideas and improve existing blog features.
  • Ensure all content adheres to organizational guidelines and promotes positive youth development messages.

Required Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for learning new digital tools and platforms, especially WordPress.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with online research.
