Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Remote Public Policy Researcher to join our dynamic Public Sector Advisory team. This 100% remote position offers flexible working hours, allowing you to manage your schedule effectively while contributing to high-impact public policy projects across the UK. You will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to inform policy recommendations and strategic advice for government bodies and public institutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary research on various public policy issues.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations summarizing research findings and policy implications.
  • Contribute to the development of evidence-based policy recommendations for clients.
  • Collaborate with senior consultants and project managers on diverse engagements.
  • Stay abreast of current policy debates, legislative changes, and research methodologies.
  • Participate in stakeholder interviews and workshops as required.
  • Manage multiple research tasks and projects concurrently, adhering to deadlines.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in public policy research, economic research, or social science research.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of distilling complex information into clear and concise outputs.
  • Proficiency in research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, or a related field.
