Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pinterest API Specialist to join our dynamic remote team. This is a technical role focused on leveraging the Pinterest API to build custom integrations, develop data-driven strategies, and enhance our clients’ presence on the platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Pinterest API, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for social commerce and digital innovation. You will work closely with our strategy, data, and development teams to implement cutting-edge Pinterest solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and integrations using the Pinterest API.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from the Pinterest API to inform client strategies and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, media, creative) to identify opportunities for API utilization and drive innovative solutions.
  • Implement and optimize Pinterest Tag, Conversion API, and other tracking mechanisms for accurate measurement.
  • Troubleshoot API integration issues and provide technical support.
  • Stay current with Pinterest API updates, best practices, and new features.
  • Document API integration processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks for Pinterest automation.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
  • Extensive experience working with RESTful APIs, specifically the Pinterest API.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development principles.
  • Experience with data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with webhooks and asynchronous data processing.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, e-commerce, and social commerce strategies.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Portfolio demonstrating previous API integration projects or data-driven solutions.
