Job Description
Are you a 16-year-old looking for your first job experience in a dynamic retail environment? Walmart in Garland, Texas is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teen Stockists to join our team for a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop essential skills, and contribute to a fast-paced large format store. As a Stockist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our shelves are well-stocked, organized, and presentable for our customers, helping to create a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently stock shelves and display areas with new merchandise.
- Rotate products and ensure proper placement according to planograms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom and sales floor.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide friendly support.
- Operate manual pallet jacks or other equipment safely as trained and authorized.
- Report any damaged or missing merchandise to a supervisor.
- Adhere to all store policies and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily goals.
Required Skills
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
