Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Apple Account Auditor to join our remote team. This crucial role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and financial integrity of accounts related to Apple products, services, and partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough audits, identifying discrepancies, and recommending corrective actions to maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of Apple-related accounts, including sales, royalties, revenue recognition, and expense reports.
- Verify the accuracy of financial data against contractual agreements, internal policies, and accounting standards.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, errors, or potential fraudulent activities.
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommended improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve audit issues and implement corrective measures.
- Stay current with Apple's ecosystem changes, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies and tools.
- Provide expert guidance on financial accuracy and compliance related to Apple accounts.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in auditing, financial analysis, or account reconciliation.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and identify anomalies.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and auditing standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CIA, CFE, or similar professional certification.
- Experience with auditing technology companies or digital platforms.
- Familiarity with Apple's business models, products, or services.
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
