Job Description
Are you a meticulous individual who isn’t afraid to get your hands dirty? RideNow Powersports in Bloomington, IL, is seeking a dedicated ATV / Off-Road Vehicle Cleaner to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring our vast inventory of ATVs and off-road vehicles are spotless and presented impeccably for sale or service. You’ll be responsible for deep cleaning, degreasing, and detailing vehicles that have faced the toughest terrains, ensuring they look and perform their best. This is physically demanding, muddy work, but it comes with competitive, high pay for the right candidate who takes pride in transforming a muddy beast into a pristine machine. Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and detail ATVs, UTVs, and other off-road vehicles, both new and used.
- Remove dirt, mud, grease, and other debris from vehicle exteriors, interiors, and undercarriages.
- Utilize power washers, specialized cleaning agents, and detailing tools effectively and safely.
- Inspect vehicles for remaining dirt or areas requiring extra attention to ensure a pristine finish.
- Assist with moving vehicles within the lot as needed, ensuring proper parking and organization.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay area, including equipment and cleaning supplies.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and environmental regulations related to cleaning products and waste disposal.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to showing up on time and completing tasks.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including prolonged standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working in various weather conditions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality results in every cleaning task.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and safe handling of various cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in vehicle detailing, professional car washing, or similar heavy-duty cleaning roles.
- Familiarity with ATVs, UTVs, or other powersports vehicles.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating pressure washers and other specialized cleaning equipment.
