Job Description
As a Bank Teller II at JPMorgan Chase, you will be a vital part of our branch team in Portland, Oregon. This role is designed for experienced hires who possess a strong foundation in banking operations and customer service. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and identifying opportunities to offer additional bank products and services. Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cashing checks.
- Identify customer needs and effectively cross-sell appropriate bank products and services, making referrals to personal bankers as needed.
- Maintain strict adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Balance cash drawer daily and assist with ATM balancing and vault duties.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Educate customers on self-service options and digital banking tools.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the bank's values.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bank teller or in a similar cash-handling customer service role.
- Proven ability to accurately handle cash and financial transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with JPMorgan Chase's banking systems and procedures.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
- Knowledge of local community and strong networking skills.
