Job Description
Are you a responsible and energetic teen looking for your first job? Everyman Barbers in Hockley, Nottingham, is seeking a Barber Shop Sweeper to join our team for weekend work. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to gain valuable work experience in a fast-paced and friendly environment. Your primary role will be to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of our shop, contributing to the premium experience our clients expect. We value a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. No prior experience is required – we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly sweep hair and debris from the barber stations and floor throughout the day
- Clean and sanitize barber chairs, mirrors, and workstations between clients
- Empty waste bins and ensure they are properly lined
- Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including the waiting area and restrooms
- Replenish supplies such as towels and cleaning products as needed
- Assist barbers with general tidiness and organization as directed
- Support a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all clients
