Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently as part of a two-person team.
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of freight across designated routes.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting any issues.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team partners.
- Manage hours of service to maximize driving time while ensuring compliance.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable CDL-A team driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Professional attitude and commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Hazmat endorsement
- Experience with temperature-controlled freight
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
