Job Description
Join BrightStar Care of Las Vegas as a Community Care Assistant and make a real difference in people’s lives. We’re looking for dedicated and empathetic individuals to provide essential care and companionship to our clients in their homes across the Las Vegas area. This role offers unparalleled flexibility to fit your lifestyle, with various shifts available, and all travel between clients is reimbursed. Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercise.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Run errands and assist with grocery shopping.
- Accurately document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients.
Required Skills
- Genuine compassion and empathy for others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Punctuality and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a caregiving role (personal or professional).
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- CNA certification (not required, but a plus).
- High school diploma or GED.
