Job Description
Carey International is seeking a professional and dedicated Corporate Sedan Driver to join our esteemed team in New Port Richey, Florida. This full-time position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, providing premium, safe, and efficient chauffeured transportation services to our corporate clients. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional driving skills, a strong commitment to punctuality, and a refined sense of customer service, ensuring a discreet and comfortable experience for all passengers. You will be an integral part of maintaining Carey’s reputation for luxury and reliability in corporate ground transportation, upholding our commitment to unparalleled service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport corporate clients to their destinations.
- Maintain a pristine and well-maintained corporate sedan at all times, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and client protocols.
- Plan routes in advance, utilizing navigation tools, and accounting for traffic patterns and potential delays.
- Assist passengers with luggage, ensuring their comfort and safety during boarding and alighting.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality regarding client information and travel details.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients as needed, providing updates and confirming itineraries.
- Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and maintain accurate logbooks and mileage records.
- Provide a seamless, comfortable, and positive experience for every client, reflecting Carey's commitment to excellence.
Required Skills
- Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record (no major infractions in the past 5 years).
- Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience (e.g., chauffeur, executive driver, commercial driver).
- Excellent knowledge of local geography and best routes within the Tampa Bay area, including New Port Richey and surrounding regions.
- Strong commitment to punctuality, reliability, and time management.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain discretion, confidentiality, and composure in various situations.
- Proficient in using GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications for routing and communication.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a corporate chauffeur or executive driver for a luxury transportation service.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle operations, minor maintenance checks, and advanced safety features.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
