Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Direct Hire Fruit Picker. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure stable employment directly with a leading retailer, bypassing agency fees and ensuring you receive the best hourly rates. You will be responsible for carefully picking and preparing a variety of fruits for distribution to our stores across the UK. This role is crucial to our supply chain, ensuring our customers always have access to fresh, high-quality produce. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick a variety of fruits according to quality standards and ripeness indicators.
- Sort and grade picked fruits, removing any damaged or unsuitable produce.
- Pack fruits into designated containers or crates for transport.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Work efficiently to meet daily picking targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift repeatedly.
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity.
