Job Description
Are you passionate about video games and helping others? Electronic Arts is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as an EA Games Support Assistant. This is an entry-level, 100% remote position, perfect for those starting their career in the gaming industry. You will be the first point of contact for our players, providing exceptional customer service and technical support for various EA game titles. We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a genuine interest in gaming to ensure our players have the best possible experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to player inquiries and issues via chat, email, and occasionally phone, providing timely and accurate solutions.
- Troubleshoot common game-related problems, technical issues, and account inquiries.
- Guide players through problem-solving steps and provide clear, concise instructions.
- Escalate complex issues to senior support staff or specialized teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all player interactions and resolutions in our CRM system.
- Stay updated on new game releases, patches, and known issues to effectively assist players.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold EA's commitment to player satisfaction.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong passion for video games and familiarity with various gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric attitude.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience (even in non-gaming related fields).
- Experience with CRM software or ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with specific EA game titles or franchises.
- Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting.
