Job Description

Brookdale Senior Living in Torrance, CA, is seeking dedicated Elderly Care Providers for a vital social support role. This position focuses on companionship, engagement, and assistance with daily living activities – no medical training is required! You will be an integral part of our residents’ lives, helping them maintain their independence, participate in social activities, and enjoy a high quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Assist residents with non-medical daily living activities, such as grooming, dressing, and mobility.
- Support residents in attending scheduled events, dining, and appointments within the community.
- Help residents with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a comfortable living environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition or behavior to the appropriate staff.
- Encourage social interaction and participation in community programs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
- Adhere to all Brookdale Senior Living policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

- CPR and First Aid certification (can be obtained after hire).
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
