Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Electronic Gaming Auditor to join our team for a night shift. This crucial on-site role involves conducting comprehensive audits of electronic gaming machines and arcade operations within our casino and entertainment venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring strict compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal controls, and company policies, contributing significantly to the integrity and financial accuracy of our gaming activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform extensive audits of electronic gaming devices, including slot machines, video poker, and other electronic table games.
  • Inspect arcade game revenue, payout systems, and redemption processes, verifying accuracy and compliance.
  • Reconcile gaming machine meters, jackpot payouts, and manual adjustments, investigating any variances.
  • Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local gaming regulations, as well as established internal control procedures.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies in gaming revenue, inventory, and operational data, reporting findings to management.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports, documenting findings, conclusions, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Monitor and review gaming system logs and transaction records for unusual patterns or suspicious activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments such as security, finance, and operations to maintain seamless compliance.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding all gaming, financial, and company information.
  • Work exclusively during night shift hours to cover critical operational periods and complete auditing tasks.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in auditing, accounting, finance, or a related field, preferably within the gaming or hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of internal control principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with audit software or gaming systems.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, night shift environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and inter-departmental collaboration.
  • Demonstrated high degree of integrity, discretion, and ethical conduct.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Previous experience as a Gaming Auditor or in a similar compliance-focused role within a casino or large entertainment venue.
  • Knowledge of specific gaming regulations relevant to the state of Florida.
  • Certifications in auditing, fraud examination, or a related professional designation.
